Deputy Director of Product & Services Delivery Management Office, DHS Office of the CIO

Charles (Chuck) Taylor was recently appointed to the position of Deputy Director of Product and Services Delivery Management at the DHS Office of the Chief Information Officer. As Deputy Director, Chuck will also serve as the Contiguous Diagnostics and Mitigation Operations Manager. Chuck began his federal career as a police officer with the United States Secret Service Uniformed Division in 1988. He served in the Foreign Missions Branch, the Official Residence of the Vice President, as well as the White House Branch. Later, Chuck continued his career at the Secret Service by serving as an analyst in the Budget Division under the Chief Financial Officer. In 2002, he transferred to the U.S. House of Representatives to serve in the Office of the Chief Administrative Office (CAO).

With over 30 years of experience in the Information Technology (IT) Industry as a computer Scientist/Systems Engineer and Program Manager, Ms. Ileto has focused on systems/application development and deployment both in private industry as well as government sector. She is a successful goal-driven professional with experience with strategic program management, program/project management, systems delivery and deployment, implementing effective business process engineering initiatives across the development lifecycle, implementing enterprise-wide initiatives across the Department and the Federal Government and updating the systems life cycle to reflect incremental delivery (agile).

Kevin Cox

Program Manager for the Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Program, U.S. Department of Homeland Security 

Mr. Cox leads the effort working collaboratively with federal agencies to deploy cybersecurity solutions to 1) identify agency networks and assets and 2) protect them and agency data in near real-time against the growing cybersecurity threats. Prior to joining DHS, Mr. Cox served as the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at the Department of Justice, where he oversaw the organization’s cybersecurity continuous monitoring capabilities and the security posture dashboard. Mr. Cox holds M.A. degrees from West Virginia University and the University of Chicago.
