The Association for Federal Information Resources Management (AFFIRM) is hosting a special event in September to introduce the new directions in AFFIRM’s programs and activities for the year and to meet the some of the new 2017-2018 AFFIRM Board Members.

It is a chance to network with AFFIRM Board Members and other Government, Academic and Industry IT Professionals in a lively and informal setting.  As a networking-focused event, there will be a brief 15-20-minute program (around 7pm) that will provide an introduction to the AFFIRM directions and activities for the year and for the AFFIRM Board Members to be introduced to the attending IT professionals and change agents.  The title for the event will be “New Directions, Meet the New AFFIRM Board” just to keep it focused.  The rest of the event will be spent networking with IT professionals on a one-on-one basis.

This is a widely-attended non-profit event with no entry fee and a cash bar. This event is part of an annual series of AFFIRM After Hours Networking events, offering our members and guests the chance to connect after working hours. CIOs and other IT professionals from many Federal agencies will be in attendance, along with partners from the IT industry with whom to network and interact.
