The AFFIRM After Hours Networking Event for April will be a special jointly hosted event with a focus on "Ensuring a Public Service Career in Information Technology."  We are partnering on this event with Young AFCEA Bethesda. The event will appeal to those that are interested in a future of Information technology (IT) in the public sector (with the government or with government contractors) and also to those with more established careers that are willing to share and learn key life lessons for success in the Federal IT industry.
This After Hours event is primarily networking-focused event facilitating one-on-one conversations. In addition, there will be a brief 10-15 minute program in the middle of the event that will provide our featured guest with five to seven minutes to share some of their success stories and advice to the next generation of IT professionals and change agents. This event is targeted for people developing their IT government or contractor careers in public service, as well as experienced professionals with experience that they are willing to share.  We believe that Federal public service is supported by Federal employees and their supporting contractors.
This is a widely attended gathering.  There will be a cash bar at this event.

This event is part of an annual series of AFFIRM After Hours Networking events, offering our members and guests the chance to connect after working hours. CIOs and other IT professionals from many Federal agencies will be in attendance, along with partners from the IT industry with whom to network and interact.
