AFFIRM is hosting this After-Hours Event to network in a lively and informal setting. We have invited a couple very special Government Featured Guests: Jaclyn Smyth, Director, Strategic Sourcing Program Office at U.S. Department of Homeland Security and Laura J. Stanton, Assistant Commissioner, General Services Administration (GSA), Federal Acquisition Service (FAS). While this is predominately a stand-up networking event, our Featured Guests will provide brief comments, at the mid-point of the event, and will also be available for individual discussions.
This event is part of an annual series of AFFIRM After Hours Networking events, offering our members and guests the chance to connect after working hours. CIOs and other IT professionals from many Federal agencies will be in attendance, along with partners from the IT industry with whom to network and interact.
There is no cost to register. A cash bar will be available at Pennsylvania 6. Registration is strongly recommended, but not required.
Pennsylvania 6 is a new glamorous eatery with a 1940's feel serving steaks, a raw bar, and a versatile New American menu. Happy Hour specials will be available for order and include $1 Oysters and $5 Oyster Shooters from 4:00 pm – 8:30 pm (Happy Hours prices extended to 8:30 for our group only.)
