Mr. Youel Page was appointed the Deputy Commissioner, FAS as of November 2, 2014. In this position, he oversees the delivery of more than $50 billion of products, services and solutions that save taxpayer dollars and enable federal agencies to accomplish their missions as efficiently as possible. Mr. Youel Page has over 20 years of experience driving the development of innovative, business-driven strategies for acquisition in public sector operations.
He previously served GSA as the Assistant Commissioner, Integrated Award Environment (IAE), where he was responsible for acquisition e-government shared services and establishing GSA’s Common Acquisition Platform to enable greater acquisition analytics capabilities, reduced system duplication, and greater use of user-centric design and expert decision support. He also served as Deputy Assistant Commissioner for the $20B Integrated Technology Service; at Treasury as Deputy Director, Office of the Procurement Executive, and Director of Treasury headquarters procurement during the financial crisis. He has acquisition and management experience in private, non-profit and international development sectors.
Mr. Youel Page earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan Business School in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts.
